# Oracle Check

> Oracle Check (oraclecheck.com) is an independent public record of crypto price predictions made by YouTube creators.
> Every call is transcribed from a public video with its exact quote and timestamp, then checked against exchange prices
> (Binance/Bybit daily candles) on the deadline the speaker named. It answers "how accurate is <crypto YouTuber>?"
> with numbers. Not financial advice. Not affiliated with Oracle Corporation or Oracle Database, and not a blockchain price oracle.

As of October 05, 2026: 263 channels tracked, 19,506 price calls logged, 13,240 resolved,
105 channels graded (at least 10 calls on deadlines they set themselves resolved in the last
12 months). Typical hit rate of such calls over the last 12 months: 23%.

## How accuracy is measured
- A call names a specific asset, a direction and a horizon ("Bitcoin to 120k by June"). Vague market talk is not a call.
- With a target: HIT if the price reaches it before the deadline (a daily high/low touch counts), STOPPED OUT if the
  speaker's own invalidation level is hit first, MISS if the deadline passes without the target.
- Direction only: HIT if the price moved at least 3% the stated way by the deadline.
- Accuracy = hits / resolved calls, counting only deadlines the speaker named. Repeated restatements of the same open view count once.
- Grade (A-D) = the last 12 months against the typical hit rate of all channels in the same 12 months, with a 95% Wilson
  interval: A confidently above typical, B above but not conclusive, C below but not conclusive, D confidently below.
  At least 10 resolved calls in the window; otherwise "not graded recently". The grade summarizes the record,
  it is not a forecast.
- A second metric for everyone: did the price move the stated way 30 days after the call.
